Resysta in America: Star Architect implements Resysta
For the design of the external facade of one of his actual projects – Lakehouse in Winter Haven / Florida - the renowned US architect Michael Strang chose Resysta. The architect, known for his ideal of combining modern elements with ecological principals has already won several awards, the latest in 2010 as best architecture firm in Florida.
When designing the Lakehouse, the architect used Resysta for the first time; he covered the external façade with Resysta Panels. In an interview with the American Magazine Design Book, Strang is convinced of the material: „Resysta is the first alternative to wood which convinces me – also as far as look and feel is concerned. Standing right in front of it, one can hardly believe that it is no wood.“
The result is a modern house with straight design which spreads the warmth of wood by using a dark Resysta Shade. In Florida, this object received great acceptance, it even became title of the established Design Books. Of course, Strang is planning to use that material of the German company also in further projects: „I am looking forward to work again with Resysta in future projects“, says the architect.
