Part of this question has already been answered above. One special property of Resysta Marine is its bipolarity, i.e., the surface of the material engages with water without absorbing it. Why rice husks in particular are good for this purpose?
Rice husk is a waste product which is normally being burnt. By using rice husk for Resysta carbon is absorbed which otherwise is released during combustion process. Therefore we have a very positive carbon footprint . Rice husk is a renewable resource. The husk mainly consists of cellulose and is not getting grey (wood has 30% Lignin and this creates the greying). Rice husk is an active filler for Resysta which positively influences the product.
