The New American Home made of Resysta!
Las Vegas is expecting something big: Shortly before the Builder´s Show NAHB begins in late January, the construction project “The New American Home” arranged by the fair is almost finished. These projects are conducted to any NAHB , this time with participation of Resysta. The constructors applied the material as façade on the outside and as wall-cladding for the interior. The construction is documented in a video, in which the project leaders seem impressed by the look of Resysta and how it blends in with the nature of the Navada desert. During the fair, visitors are offered a shuttle service so they can take a tour of the house.

Luminous exposure test shows strength of Resysta
The renowned German Institute for wood technology eph conducted a simulated luminous exposure test with different materials. By using the xenon test the laboratory tested 15 materials on their durability and resistance, among it Resysta. The result was distinct and Resysta clearly won ahead of WPC and wood. The test lasted 2000 hours at 55° C and 50 per cent of relative humidity – this is counted as an outdoor weathering period of 15 years. Once again Resysta proved its high qualities.

Enviroden counts on Resysta
The company Enviroden form the UK is specialized in planning and creating garden buildings such as sheds along ecological practices. But they always came to borders in finding a good material for the rain gutters – the commonly used aluminum is anything but an environment-friendly solution. Until now – recently Enviroden tested Resysta for the first time and was amazed by the result. Wood has never been an alternative as application for the rain gutter, thus Resysta with its water-resistant qualities is a valuable addition to the portfolio of Enviroden. The supporting elements of the den are made of oak, thus the project is a good example on the harmony that Resysta and wood can establish.
