The William Vale Hotel, Brooklyn/Williamsburg, NYC
Experience world-class hospitality in the heart of New York City’s most vibrant and creative corner. Welcome to The William Vale, the newest independent boutique hotel in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood, minutes from Lower Manhattan and miles from the ordinary.
A 22nd-floor rooftop bar with sweeping views of New York City atop The William Vale. An elevated menu of bar snacks inspired by street food pairs with a list of handcrafted classic cocktails, rare spirits, beer, and wine in a breathtaking and sophisticated space.
Our multi-use space is designed to connect our local friends and our neighbors from afar. A public park, sprawling plaza, and variety of adult- and child-friendly programs set the stage for engagement and unexpected encounters.
At 60 feet, Vale Pool is the longest hotel pool in Brooklyn and greater New York City. Directly adjacent to the pool is Vale Terrace, a 5,000 sq. ft. immaculately landscaped open-air venue for events and celebrations.
The design plays down the area’s warehouse-y past and plays up its artistic present. An arresting installation in the lounge evokes mangled car bumpers, glass tables are trapezoidal, and a moat surrounds the room. The elevator art is provocative neon: “Come live with me,” it beckons. The 183 rooms have similarly colorful, eye-catching art, which can be a little overwhelming in a New York City-size hotel room. (The rooms are otherwise plenty comfortable, and aside from a few early-days hiccups—a male front-desk staffer called me “sweetie” early one morning—it runs pretty well.)
The architects from Albo Liberis (http://www.alboliberis.com/#/wvh/) choosed for parts of the lower façade croswood panels made of Resysta. Impressive example how to create and build great facades with products made of Resytsa – we like.
