Resysta® at the BAU 2017 in Munich

One material - Endless possibilities! For Resysta® the exhibition at BAU 2017 was a matter of course.

Out of over 250,000 visitors, for the first time over 80,000 came from outside Germany. BAU, the world's leading trade fair for architecture, materials and systems, has therefore again increased its international participation (2015: 72,000 visitors from abroad). With 2,120 exhibitors from 45 countries a new record was also achieved.

At the joint stand with INEOS, visitors were informed about the potential of Resysta®. Interested people from Germany, Europe and from all around the world were able to explore the application possibilities of Resysta®, and were enthusiastic about the product that already meets the technical and ecological requirements of tomorrow.

In 2016, INEOS acquired an exclusive production and marketing license from Resysta® for the Active Resysta Filler (ARF) in Europe. ARF is the main raw material for the production of Resysta compounds, which are used in a variety of wood substitute applications.

Water-resistant, sustainable, and virtually indistinguishable from tropical wood: the hybrid material is produced of approx. 60% rice husks, approx. 22% common salt and approx. 18% mineral oil. Thanks to this formula, no further deforestation of rainforests is necessary, and the environment is spared. Resysta® is THE alternative to wood with the most natural look and feel.

This also corresponds to the visitors’ opinions. The most important stated goal of 95% of the trade fair visitors was to get information about innovations. New and innovative products and applications are becoming an increasingly important part of the construction industry, which is rapidly evolving.

This was also the message of the many Resysta® partners exhibiting concurrently at the fair, who presented their applications with the Resysta® material.

The next BAU will take place from 14 to 19 January 2019 with two new halls on the grounds of Messe Munich. The exhibition area will thereby continue to grow to 200,000 square meters. Resysta® and its partners look forward to it.
